A gracious slate lobby lined with stained glass windows leads directly to the ninth floor 2-Bedroom, 1-Bath apartment that looks south over Tudor City Greens.

The elegant floor plan gets afternoon sun through the charming casement windows while the two bedrooms at the back of the apartment are quiet for sleeping or working. The well-proportioned living room is large
enough for comfortable living and dining, with the windowed, enclosed kitchen off to one side.

A South-facing window seat in the living room is perfect for a morning coffee, an afternoon phone call or an evening book.

The smartly designed kitchen is finished with handsome
soapstone countertops, under-counter refrigerator and cream colored, ceiling-high wooden cabinets that take advantage of all available space for storage. Well-kept original hardwood floors throughout the apartment are stained a rich dark tone.

The primary bedroom features two large closets for clothing and linens. The spacious second bedroom works well as a guest room or an office. Both are very private. The bathroom has a window and original tile and medicine cabinet with a blue slate floor.

Reasonable maintenance includes electric, heat and hot water but not gas. Common hallways have been recently redecorated.

The Manor is a pre-war, landmarked cooperative building with a full-time doorman whose staff and resident manager keep it immaculate. The amenity suite includes a 2,000 square foot fully equipped gym (with two peloton bicycles), a sound proof music room, children's playroom, renovated, computer operated central laundry room, community room, ping pong room, bike room and storage rooms that are available for a monthly fee. A fully-furnished, beautifully
landscaped roof deck has sublime views of the East River, Tudor City Greens, the Chrysler Building and the UN. Pied-a-terres are permitted and there is a flexible sub-let policy that allows rentals with Board approval after one year. Sorry, dogs are not permitted.
