پنت هاوس سوهو - زیبایی ناقص بازتعریف شده در خیابان پرنس

طراحی شده توسط معمار visionary توماس لیسر - ذهن خلاقی که پشت نمادهای نیویورک مانند وان واندربلت و کارخانه شکر دومینو قرار دارد - این پنت هاوس بی نظیر در خیابان نمادین پرنس سوهو هم یک شاهکار مفهومی و هم یک خانه به دقت تنظیم شده است.

این اقامتگاه به جای پذیرش یکنواختی استریل کاندوهای لوکس منهتن، نقص و کنتراست را در آغوش می‌کشد. صفحات مرمر، هر یک منحصر به فرد در شکل، رنگ و پایان، با شبکه سخت کارتیزیان مبارزه می‌کنند و یک مجسمه زنده ایجاد می‌کنند که در آن پیچیدگی به آرامش تبدیل می‌شود. چوب بازیافتی، بلوک سیمانی و سنگ در دیالوگ با پایان‌های تصفیه شده قرار می‌گیرد و تناقض را جشن می‌گیرد به جای اینکه آن را پنهان کند.

منطقه زندگی وسیع تا سقف‌های ۳۰ فوتی زیر یک روزنه بزرگ بالا می‌رود. پنجره‌های بزرگ نور آرامبخش را به سمت کف‌های بلوط فرانسوی قرن هفدهم دعوت می‌کنند، در حالی که یک شومینه چوب سوز فضا را با گرما محصور می‌کند. با عدم وجود سقف‌های افتاده، drywall یا درهای داخلی، طراحی باز یک آتلیه خلاقانه را در قلب سوهو، نیویورک به تصویر می‌کشد.

در مرکز، یک آشپزخانه سفارشی Valcucine از ایتالیا هنر و کارایی را ترکیب می‌کند. این آشپزخانه با سنگ ایتالیایی پوشانده شده و با بهترین وسایل مجهز شده است: یخچال و فریزر زیر صفر و کشوها، اجاق گاز القایی میله و فر برقی، ماشین ظرفشویی کشویی فیشر و پاکل، و ماشین لباسشویی و خشک کن میله.

فضاهای خصوصی موضوع نقص انتخابی را ادامه می‌دهند. سوئیت اصلی صمیمیت یک هتل بین‌المللی را ساطع می‌کند، با وان حمام مجسمه‌ای از گل بلژیکی، دوش باز بزرگ با شیرآلات مینیمالیست جان پوسن، کف‌های سنگی با گرمایش تابشی، و جزئیات سفارشی مانند پایه آنتیک و سینک چوب فسیل شده. یک آینه از زمین تا سقف به دیوار تکیه داده است. کمی زاویه‌دار است و توهم عجیب یک کف شیب‌دار را ایجاد می‌کند. سوئیت مهمان که از طریق یک پله سنگی به آن راه می‌یابید، دارای یک دوش ورودی با کاشی سیمان دست‌ساز، آینه سفارشی، اتاق بخار و یک پایه آنتیک دیگر با سینک چوب فسیل شده است که همه با شیرآلات جان پوسن کامل شده‌اند.

عملکرد با راحتی در جزئیات دقیق ملاقات می‌کند: این پنت هاوس عایق صوتی دارد و گرمایش تابشی کف‌های سنگی را هم در سطح اصلی و هم در حمام بالایی گرم می‌کند و زمستان‌های دلپذیری را فراهم می‌آورد.

روایت معماری در فضای باز با بیشترین بیان تئاتری خود ادامه می‌یابد. در بیش از ۱۰۰۰ فوت مربع از تراس‌های خصوصی، یک نقاشی دیواری دست‌نقاشی شده هر سطح را احاطه کرده و تراس‌ها را به صحنه‌ای سورئال تبدیل می‌کند که به وضوح با افق منهتن در تضاد است. با نمای شمالی، غربی و جنوبی، این تراس‌ها هم پناهگاه و هم نمایش جالبی را ارائه می‌دهند.

این پنت هاوس نه تنها یک اقامتگاه، بلکه یک پیروزی معماری است - یک تجربه انتخابی که زیبایی را از طریق نقص بازتعریف می‌کند، تناقض را در آغوش می‌کشد و فرصتی نادر برای مالکیت یک ملک تندیس و میراث طراحی واقعی در قلب سوهو را ارائه می‌دهد.

 

SoHo Penthouse Loft - Imperfect Beauty Reimagined on Prince Street  

Designed by visionary architect Thomas Leeser-the mind behind New York icons like One Vanderbilt and the Domino Sugar Factory-this one-of-a-kind penthouse loft on SoHo's iconic Prince Street is both a conceptual masterpiece and a finely tuned home.  

Rejecting the sterile uniformity of Manhattan's luxury  condos , the residence embraces imperfection and contrast. Marble slabs, each unique in shape, tone, and finish, defy the rigid Cartesian grid, creating a living sculpture where complexity transforms into tranquility. Reclaimed wood,  cinderblock  and stone are set in dialogue with refined finishes, celebrating contradiction rather than concealing it.  

The expansive living area rises to 30-foot ceilings beneath a monumental skylight. Oversized windows invite serene light across 17th-century French oak floors, while a wood-burning fireplace anchors the space with warmth. With no dropped ceilings, sheetrock, or interior doors, the open plan evokes a creative atelier in the heart of SoHo, New York City.  

At its center, a custom  Valcucine  kitchen from Italy combines artistry and utility. Clad in Italian stone, it is outfitted with top-tier appliances: Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer drawers, Miele induction cooktop and electric oven, Fisher & Paykel drawer dishwasher, and Miele washer and dryer.  

Private spaces continue the theme of curated imperfection. The primary suite channels the intimacy of a world-class hotel, with a sculptural Belgian clay soaking tub, a  massive open shower  with minimalist John Pawson fixtures, radiant-heated stone floors, and bespoke accents like an antique pedestal and petrified wood sink. A  floor-to-ceiling mirror leans against the wall. Slightly angled, it produces the uncanny illusion of a sloped floor.  The guest suite, reached by a  stone staircase , features a  walk-in shower with  hand made  cement  tile  a custom mirror,  steam room, and another antique pedestal with a petrified wood sink, all completed with John Pawson fixtures.  

Function meets comfort in thoughtful details: the loft is soundproofed, and radiant heating warms the stone floors both in the main level and the upper bath, ensuring cozy winters.  

The architectural narrative  continues  its most theatrical expression outdoors. Across 1,000 square feet of private terraces, a hand-painted mural envelops every surface, turning the terraces into a surreal stage that radically contrasts the Manhattan skyline. With north, west, and south-facing views, these terraces offer both retreat and spectacle.
